This the wall of the same car wash I was at earlier in my photos. The color is pretty cool....

Very nice, and very grungy. I'm glad you didn't use monochrome here, the colour really helps this image. Oddly enough, the framing and perspective makes me lean to the right, almost like I'm trying to see past the grey of the deviant art border and see more...

yeah, again, I was trying for a david fincher feel. It's so hard doing something grainy and grungy.
:icondrenton:
Especially at regular saturation too. I can't do colour grunge with more than -70 saturation. But you did it here, so that counts for something. Hey, I'll be using some Fuji 800 film soon if the weather doesn't clear up, I'll take another texture shot (Like the one I did with T-max 400), you could use that to add grain (Give me three weeks though). 'Cause grain = grunge = realism = Pulitzer Prize. :sarcasm:

haha, exactly. I've been trying to figure out how people get those grainy david fincher shots with their camera's. I just can't find the way. I heard it was all about digital. Is that true???
:icondrenton:
Well with digital it is easier to adjust and fiddle with, but the Dave F. grain seems more film like. Ah well, when you get round to getting a digital, feel free to use the upcoming Fuji 800 (When it's submitted).
